Drawing Room opens at A.R.T. NY / S. Oxford Space
138 S. Oxford, Brooklyn, NY – April 29, 2008, 8pm

Sherrard Bostwick and Juliana Cope, a collaborative artist duo, are showing their work. The Drawing Room is based on a yearlong collaboration between two visual artists with interests in installation, movement, and mark making. Using invisible, transitory and semi-permanent forms of mark making, the performances quietly address the complexities of viewing relationships; internal/external, visible/invisible, living/non-living beyond these binaries.  The artists hope the work will be seen as an invitation for questions, not a demonstration of answers.
